Jon's primary skill is to write efficient, industrial class code in Visual Basic. In particular, he is experienced in n-tier client/server development, particularly in conjunction with Microsoft SQL Server. All code produced is clear, concise, thoroughly commented and, above all, always contains robust error handling.

In addition, Jon is also proficient in all aspects of Visual Basic development including component development, intranet, and GUI design. He is also proficient in C-based DLL development. As an IT journalist Jon is also self-motivated to remain up-to-date with the wider issues of Windows architecture, knowledge of which leads to greater quality within any applications produced.

Defect tracking
